Rules From God
Wake Up...
...and decide to have a good day. “This is the day the Lord
has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalms 118:24).
“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake
out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed”
(Romans 13:11).
Dress Up!!
“For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the
outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Sam.
16:7). “...be clothed with righteousness” (Psalms 132:9)
and “humility” (1 Peter 5:5). “...put on the new
man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness”
(Ephesians 4:24).
Shut Up!!
Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one
mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening
than talking. “He who guards his lips guards his soul”
(Proverbs 13:3). “..let every man be swift to hear, slow to
speak, slow to wrath” (James 1:19).
Stand Up...
...For what you believe in! Stand for something or you will fall
for anything.. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of
God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having
done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13).
Look Up...
...To the Lord. “I can do everything through Christ who strengthens
me” (Philippians 4:13). “...we, according to his promise,
look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness”
(2 Peter 3:13).
Reach Up...
...For something higher. “Trust in the Lord with all your
heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways,
acknowledge Him, and He will direct our path” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lift Up...
...Your prayers to God. “...do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).
